A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

One Act Shy
One Act Shy

I’m almost done writing the sentences for the Episode Three, All Around the Universe, Scene Outline today. I only have one Act left to write for this episode. That’s twenty-five sentences I need to write before I start writing Episode Four, Where Have They Been?

That also means that I only got seventy-five sentences written today for this Outline. Why didn’t I get the other twenty-five sentences written today to finish this episode? The usual answer to that question is that I didn’t have enough time to do it. That’s partially true.

I only had about five hours to write these sentences. That should have been plenty of time to finish this episode. After all, that’s only about twenty sentences every hour, or about one sentence every three minutes, or about four paragraphs every hour. So, why wasn’t it enough time?

It wasn’t the unusual reason why I don’t get as much writing done as I think I should. After all, it was five hours. I have gotten more written in less time than that. The only reason why I didn’t get more written today that I can think of is all the updating I need to do today.

Unfortunately, I had a lot of updating I needed to do on both my Act Breakdown and my Story Outline. It was mostly my Story Outline that needed to be updated, but I also needed to update my Act Breakdown a little bit. So, it was more like I wrote about a hundred sentences today after all.

I thought that I was almost done with my updating of this episode with my Teaser Act and Act One, but I was wrong. It wasn’t as bad as it was for my first two Acts, but I did need to update Acts Two, Three, and Four somewhat. Almost every storyline needed to be updated one way or another.

The bad news is that I didn’t get this phase of this episode finished today, but the good news is that I shouldn’t have any problems finishing it tomorrow. That means I will have about three days left in this week to finish writing Episode Four, aka the last of these sentences.

Will I get Episode Four of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project done by the end of this week? With three days to work on it, I have a very good chance of getting it done before I return to work on early Saturday evening at six PM WDC time. I should get it done by then.

Then again, maybe I won’t. After all, I usually don’t have too much, if any, time to work on it on Saturday. That means I only have three days to finish these sentences. I can still get it done within these three days. A lot of it depends on what my brother and I need to do in these three days.

If I can get three to five hours, preferably four or five hours, each day, I should get it done. After all, I only have one hundred and ninety-two sentences to write for this episode. That doesn’t include any updating I need to do, and what I need to finish with Episode Three.
