A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Almost Done with Skinless Setup Early yesterday evening to early this morning, I did extremely well with my ‘Skinless’ movie. It only took me about an hour to update my spreadsheet. After I finished my ‘Skinless’ spreadsheet, I started working on the sentences for the Act Breakdown, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines. I have almost finished this phase of this scriptwriting project. All that is left to do is the paragraph Outlines and the scene numbering for my Story Outline. The scene numbering has already been done with my Act Breakdown, but I don’t want to do it yet until I create my paragraph Story Outline. After all, it doesn’t have any scene numbers with it. This movie has been handled a little bit differently than all of my other scriptwriting projects in several ways. One way is that Zaydra starts and ends every act in this movie. She has a total of thirteen scenes in every Act. Not to mention being connected with the other twelve in every Act. Another way that it’s different is the two secondary storylines in each Act. They are different, yet they are also the same. What does that mean? It means that no two Acts are exactly the same when it comes to the secondary characters. The only two that are almost the same are the Tag Act One and the Teaser Act Two. What makes them almost the same is that they end the first half of the movie and begin the second half of the movie. The only other difference is that the two secondary storylines are opposite on either the Tag Act One or the Teaser Act Two. It’s the only two Acts like that, though. A third difference is that the sentences for my Act Breakdown and my Story Outline have already been written. That only leaves my Scene Outline to write before I finish this phase of this project. Will I get the three hundred sentences written during my twelve-hour shift that starts early this evening and ends early tomorrow morning? I doubt that I will get all three hundred written during my twelve-hour shift this evening and tomorrow morning, but anything is possible. Hopefully, I will get at least half of it done, but I won’t count on that happening until it does because I don’t think it will happen. It could happen. I could get all three hundred sentences written tonight. After all, I have done it before. There is no reason that I can’t do it again, especially since I’m writing them at work. Often, I write more at work than I do at home. Why that happens, I don’t know. Maybe it’s fewer distractions. Whatever the reason, it could happen. |
