A Powder Blue Suit

Most of my life I wanted
a powder blue suit;
I s’pose I shouldn’t have been daunted
but I really don’t give a hoot.

When it’s nearly time to head in,
with all arguments seemingly moot,
I hope I wouldn’t be seen dead in
a powder blue suit.

Prompt: None, but my desire for a powder blue suit was sparked by the photo on the cover of the Yardbirds first album. In it, Eric Clapton was wearing a powder blue suit. At the time, it seemed very cool.
