A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

About Three Hours

The first four episodes for my Scriptwriting Project are what I worked on today. I only got the Story Outline done for Episode One, ‘Everyone Should Know,’ and the Teaser Act for the Scene Outline. That equals sixty-seven sentences written today. Forty-two for the Story Outline and twenty-five for the Scene Outline.

I have already written up the Act Breakdowns for these other three episodes, but I haven’t started writing the Story Outlines or the Scene Outlines for them yet. Of course, I could have done all the Story Outlines before I started writing the Scene Outlines, like I did with the Act Breakdowns, but I decided not to do that.

It’s too confusing if I write all the Story Outlines before I start on the Scene Outlines. It shouldn’t be a problem, but it most likely could be one. By doing the Story and Scene Outlines for each episode individually, I think it will be easier to write them. At least that’s what I think.

Why didn’t I get more written today on this scriptwriting project? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written in one day? It’s because of what my brother and I had to do today. It wasn’t a lot we needed to get done, but what we did need to do took us most of the day to do.

By the time my brother and I finished what we needed to do today, I only had about three hours to work on this project. That’s why I only got sixty-seven sentences written today on my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. That’s about twenty-two sentences every hour or about four paragraphs, and that’s very good. At least it is to me.

Unfortunately, tomorrow looks like it may be the same as today in terms of the number of hours I had today. I may have an extra hour or two to work on this project tomorrow, but I won’t count on that happening until it does. After all, Wednesdays are usually very busy for my brother and me. I’m sometimes lucky if I have three hours on Wednesdays.

I have one hundred and twenty-five sentences to write before I finish writing Episode One for this project. Will I get that done tomorrow? It’s possible I could get it done tomorrow if I have four or five hours to work on it, but if I only have about another three hours, it’s doubtful.

It’s doubtful that I will get one hundred and twenty-five sentences to finish writing Episode One, but it can be done. I have done it before, and I can do it again, especially if I have four or five hours to work on it. Will I do it again tomorrow? Hopefully, I will.
