I had opened my blog to see if I could think of something to post, when my eye was drawn to the array of Quill near-awards listed in the header. It occurred to me that the two in the middle don't mention the Quill at all, although the colouring matches with the 2023 one. I guess they thought just the quill symbol was enough to identify them.

And then I thought how different were the styles of the awards from one year to the next. Get them all together from the very first to the latest and you'd have a museum of design taste over the last couple of decades.

Somebody should do that.
