Day 27 Kearney, Nebraska

We traveled on the coach to Kearney, Nebraska. The scenery is nice. We stopped at Burger King and I had my chicken fries and onion rings. I read a Danielle Steel Book. WakeUpAndLive~lifestyle change Sandy's Scribblings were knitting. StephBee is writing a romance novel on her lap top. stephen.ret played a video game. AmyJo-me, myself, and I Witchy Yule Woman Jellyfish -STOP THE WAR!✌️ were reading.

We are here at the Oregon Trail. The Great Platte River Road. We meet up with a guide who tells a sad story about the Oregon Trail. Some didn't make it. We go on a hike. A long walk. Early auto travel. The roads weren't so great. We have a picnic on the Archway grounds. Witchy Yule Woman made chicken and potato salads. I snuck in some tuna. StephBee bought tuna salad. stephen.ret had made some chili. WakeUpAndLive~lifestyle change Jellyfish -STOP THE WAR!✌️ Sandy's Scribblings AmyJo-me, myself, and I and I bought chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cream pies, pretzels, chips and dips. After that, we went to the souvenir shop. I bought magnets, postcards, hand blown glass hummingbirds, a gnome.

We went to the car exhibit. Nice. We see a orange 1957 Chevy, Corvettes, motorcycles. I went to look at a purple 1969 Mustang. This is my car. stephen.ret was gone for a hour looking at cars. Witchy Yule Woman WakeUpAndLive~lifestyle change AmyJo-me, myself, and I Sandy's Scribblings liked the motorcycles and I did, too. The 60's one. I started singing Born To Be Wild and Peter Fond come and get me and we will ride the highways together. Jellyfish -STOP THE WAR!✌️ AmyJo-me, myself, and I liked the car that looked like the one on I Love Lucy. A pink Cadillac. The old cars and motorcycles are neat.

We go see the sandhill cranes. They made a lot of noise. There were quite a few. They seem to like humans. We walked along beside them. We went and got ice cream at a store near by. Another neat day.
