A poem a day each April, for Katya the Poet's Dew Drop Inn |
| We are working on a group home for our son compiling lists of inquiries, requests... He has graduated from the safety net of school; an eaglet fledged from sheltered egg and nest The first time was emergency and plight and we were pleading, panicked, wretched, scared No questions asked: just take him, save him now our nerves exposed, our desperation bared Today we face, prepared this time, a change; we hope we have the chance to have him near the blessings come in whispers - choices, plans - a future filled with so much more more than fear. note ▶︎ |
