| Like a fragile seed, I grow Parents providing the safety of the soil Mentors imparting the encouragement of the sun Friends and family offering the vitality of the water Maturing into a state of mind, and a state of being I begin life full of potential and uncertainty One indistinguishable from all the other seeds but still unquestionably and uniquely me to be shaped as much by the road ahead as where I came from But who am I, and what will become of this fragile seed?
