Chasing Dreams
They tried to tell me in the name of love
Not to chase dreams too far above
The candied rainbow just out of reach
I was broken, me they could not teach
Too many bruises, hidden from the sun
Too many mistakes to be undone
But I was stubborn, didn’t listen
And now my heart, it glistens
