Another journey in Wonderland |
| You discover you are nothing more than a figment of another person’s dream! What is this dream about and how did you get there in the first place? (Short story <1000 words or poetry < 31 lines) I fell awake with fireworks and flames a flash of memory at my dream's edge, and my back ached as though I danced yesterday on dragon wings (or I slept wrong? who could tell?) across a starlit sky, and my fingers felt clumsy and heavy, and impossibly wrong-- as though my eyes were still closed and all my waking toils-- my work and aches and troubles were nothing at all. a dragon's nightmares-- the last dying embers of fancy dreamt by someone whose existence is so much brighter, sharper, stronger, than my flimsy echo of a life.
