I wondered if leaving the party without giving others time to show up was a mistake. Even if it was, it wasn't the worst mistake I had ever made. One time in college I risked my 4.0 gpa for the semester because I made a mistake about what day the final was being held on. I had to ace the makeup final to fix it because there was a five point penalty for not making it to the previously scheduled final. This would have been bad because I needed an A in the class to keep my overall gpa above the probationary level, I had a Chinese class I took in highschool through the college that I only got a D in. I aced it so no harm no foul but I really did feel stupid walking into class the day I thought the final was supposed to be and finding the room empty...
