Remembering Mama: To my Mother Marie Pear I Remember Mama was a book and a movie, the only thing I remember about either was that the woman loved and missed her mother. I can sympathize because I miss my Mama every day. Sometimes the memories are accompanied by teardrops falling from my soul: I smile through the rain knowing that Mama now lives in paradise. Mama raised four children-- without the help of our father-- on a food server's salary. Her emotional support systems, God and her parents. Line Count: 21 Form: Free verse style stanzas with some random end rhymes. Written for "Invalid Item" |
