Part 2-The Coup

After a couple of centuries of peace, dragons mingled amongst humans as "manaketes". However, one manakete had been gathering followers for his vision of dragons coming out of hiding & using their power to enslave or kill off humankind. He took his stone & through black magic, twisted it into a one of a kind Earth Stone. This was when he became known as the Shadow Dragon. He & his followers fought their way into my castle to my throne. My mate (at the time) engaged in battle so I & my daughter could flee for our lives.
