         Yellow Knows

Dandelions dot the green
with brilliant yellow hues;
showing summer’s silly side,
a butter-lover’s muse.

Yellow cases dot the screen,
like brilliant dandy clothes;
they mark an author as preferred
and now the Yellow knows.

Do you remember the dandelion game from childhood? You’d ask someone if they loved butter and then rub the dandelion on their chin or nose to prove it. (At least I didn’t go with yellows know!)
