They aren't real. Maybe. A mermaid is half woman and half fish. She protects sea creatures and the ocean. She is a thing of beauty and to admire. You feel peace at the ocean. It is calming. Sitting by the beach. An ocean beach. The tide comes in. You forget the world and it's problems. You see a whale. A mermaid. This is life and the ocean is a peaceful, tranquil world.
