The Handmaiden's Prayer

Baha'u'llah,
from the depths of my insistent self
you called me forth.

Assist me
to be steadfast in Your covenant
and firm in Your cause.

Beloved,
out of my own vain imaginings
You rescued me.

Thank You,
for guiding me to Your ancient faith
and Your forgiveness.
