Even Less Than Yesterday

Today has not been a good day when it comes to my writing. I have gotten some writing done on my contest Short Story. But not as much of it as I should have gotten. With only about a week and a half left until the end of this month, I don’t think that I will be able to finish it in time this time.

That doesn’t mean that I’m going to give up on writing it. It just means that it won’t be easy for me to finish it. The only way that I might get it finished on time is if I work on it after work until this month ends. Can I do that? It’s not going to be easy for me to do. But it can be done. I’m just not sure if I can do it.

What is my usual reason why I can’t get any writing done or not as much as I thought that it should be? During my work week, it because of work, the weather, who I work for, or where I work. Sometimes it’s more than one of them. As for my days off from work, it’s normally because of what my brother and I need to do that day.

Unfortunately, today is because of my days off. It all started early this morning again. And it hasn’t stopped until a little bit ago. For the last couple of hours, I have been able to write some. But not too much. Of course, that is partially my fault. During those few hours, I had a lot of trouble concentrating on my writing.

The normal reason why I have a lack of concentration is because of the lack of sleep. True, I didn’t get a lot of sleep the last couple of days. But that isn’t the reason for my concentration problem. It’s been the writing itself. I knew what I wanted to write. Just not how to write it. That is why I didn’t get too much writing done today.

Will I get to do any more writing after I get done with this blog entry? That’s what I’m planning on doing. And what I need to force myself to do. But will I, do it? that I don’t know yet. I want to work on it some more. I’m just not sure if I can do it. as far as I know, I can. But I could be wrong about that, though.
