There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Slightly Distracted on Purpose I still haven’t decided how I’m going to proceed with the third Short Story for the Musicology Anthology Challenge yet. But that doesn’t mean I have spent all day thinking about that decision. No, I haven’t. I’m still probably going to do what I have been thinking about doing with this Short Story aka Peaceful Easy Feeling. But I’m still thinking about it. I will most likely make that decision sometime tomorrow. And continue to write it after I get off of work tomorrow night. Like I wrote above, I didn’t get any writing done on the challenge. But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t gotten any writing done today. I finally got a prompt for one of the contests that I have participating in for the last few months. And that is what I have been working on today. Once I got that prompt it didn’t take me too long to remember a Short Story that goes along with it. Only I did it a little differently this time. I created a synopsis of it before I broke it down into fifteen parts that I may or may not do as parts. But I haven’t decided about that yet. Of course, I’m not going to use this synopsis as part of my story. They are just a guideline to it. Once I got the synopsis finished, I started writing this Short Story I’m calling ‘A Different Kind of Growth.’ Unfortunately, I didn’t get too much of the actual Short Story written today. I did get two of the ‘parts’ done today. And that is a very good start considering I did my synopsis first. At least I think that it’s a good start to it. the big question now is will I continue to work on it before I go to sleep tonight. That’s what I’m planning on doing. But as for if I will or not, that is still up in the air whether I do it.
