I think when flowers arrive in spring, the earth smiles and sighs as it brings life back to earth after the hard winter. The first robin appears and sings. He, too sees the good changes and the earth is smiling and laughing in flowers. Flowers add beauty and makes one smiles. The earth does laugh in flowers.
