Do Your Characters Talk To You?

Prompt: Joy asked if our characters whisper in our ear and talk to us when we are writing a story?

Yes. I am part Native American and when I would write Native American stories, my full blooded Great Grandma, Lightfoot, seemed to talk to me as I was writing my stories. I really believe this. When I would write in character, I take on the character and feel like they are talking to me. I think when we make up a character or write about a real person like Joan Of Arc or Marie Antionette, I believe they are talking to me, telling me what to write along with my own thoughts.
