Birthday month.
24. How do you typically celebrate your birthday?

It’s a funny thing about my birthday. For 28 years I celebrated this day in Mid-Summer. July is usually the warmest month in England. The opportunities to celebrate outdoors were endless. A lovely summer evening celebration in a country pub’s garden, maybe down by the river was a perfect place to raise a glass or two.
However, now I celebrate my birthday in mid winter in Australia. July is definitely the wettest and coldest of all the months. In fact Christmas in July is a thing here. Folks trim the tree, light the fire and cook a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. So maybe that is an option for me as a birthday outing.
What usually happens though is my family including the great grandchildren have lunch somewhere and I get spoiled with gifts I don’t really need.
