Scraps and scribbles from 1960 - 2015 |
| Our conversations as of late Are fodder for my writing. Intense and anxiously I wait; From you I should be hiding. Over emails I cast my eye Expecting more from you; Yet smiling in a picture, You and your wife I view. I’ve read all my old poems, Short stories I wrote of you, Words paint our life together If only in my dreams so few. Emotion evoked intensely Warns of distancing from you; Today I wait and watch again An email please, once more my friend? 3/3/2016 |
