A look behind some of my poetry

         "Never There"  [13+]

The first verse of this piece was originally written as the first verse of "The Forsaken"  [18+] ... but I wasn't happy with how it flowed. The flow of the verse was perfect, just didn't suit what I was trying to achieve with 'Forsaken'. Then I heard Korn's "Did My Time" and the verse fit with the flow of the song... perfectly.

As the verse was so similar in flow to "Did My Time", I decided to use the same layout/flow for this piece ... an experiment into the lyrical side of poetry... think it turned out quit well, as I can hear the tune in my head as I'm reading through.

As for the theme; it's my typical dark twist of the time... I don't recall it being about anyone/thing in particular, just a random piece.
