My journey from fat to fit! |
| I bought a 4-pack of Annie’s Mac and cheese, but I’m going to try to wait as long as I can until I eat one. I need to get into the habit of eating what’s healthier for my heart. I also have two 1.67 pound containers of ground turkey in the freezer, I was going to make it with the Mac and cheese, but now I’m holding off on eating that, too. I bought some Annie’s refrigerated cinnamon rolls that you bake at home, they’re made with whole grains. There are five cinnamon rolls to a can at 320 calories each, so that’s 1,600 calories every time I bake some. The next time I go shopping, I’m not buying more of them. I was planning on getting orange juice. It’s high in calories, but I can control how much I take in each time, instead of being forced to consume a large quantity of something at once. Now I’ve changed my mind, and I’m getting oranges instead. I bought some broccoli and asparagus and have been eating them every day since I went to the store. I feel better when I eat vegetables. I’ve also been trying to be more consistent with documenting what I eat daily. There were months when I only tracked two or three days in a month, but this month I’ve rarely deviated from keeping my food journal. I was told some time ago by a fitness expert that I won’t make progress with weight loss until I keep track of my food intake reliably. I cooked black lentils for dinner Thursday, 3/12/26. I trained with weights Saturday, Sunday and Thursday. I want to be more consistent, but I was sore Monday brought Wednesday. |
