Hardship of Winter
Hardship of Winter
Bodhisattwa Parekh

The snow fell, a terrible sight.
Days are shorter, with fading light.
A cold wind would blow.
Made all shake and slow,
Dangers were embraced all day.

This cold made a fellow gloom.
His fingers and toes became numb.
He stopped for the sun.
Till winter would run,
And warmth made the roses bloom.
