Alone
Written for "EXPRESS IT IN EIGHT " ; TOPIC: WRITE A POEM ABOUT ISOLATION.

All alone no one around,
A single tree on the ground.

Standing alone against the storm.
Refusing change, won't conform.

Reaching upward seeking the light.
Standing fast through the darkest night.

That lone ole' tree is a beautiful site.
I admire its beauty and respect its might.
