Roundup's main person of note is:
Paul E. Funk, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant General. He was here last year as Grand Marshall of our 4th of July Parade. An Army Band came as well as an Army parachute team. It was quite a big deal.

My favorite part of his bio is this: In his youth, he owned a small herd of Hereford cattle while employed by the ES Bar Ranch near Roundup (his place of birth), but was forced to sell them to fund his education at Montana State.
