I wrote this for myself and wanted to share it with you. It is a 40 Line poem. |
40 Lines We ask you in our hearts today, Forgive us, Jesus, for we have sinned. How shall we survive? Free us from our guilt and shame. Throughout our lives, the burdens we carry will eat us alive. Only you have the power of deliverance. Dwelling within our souls are pain and agony. You can make us whole by cleansing and purifying our hearts. You can wash away the darkness that floods within us. We will see the lightness of your kingdom. The music will be playing. Showers of blessing will come down upon us with an abundance of love. We will have rejoicing in our hearts. We will be content by singing songs of praise. No longer will we be dwelling in our sorrows when we turn to you. When we are baptized in the water, and receive the Holy Ghost, we will become a new creature, the old self will be gone, and the new self will come out. This doesn't mean that we won't be going through trials, it just means that we can find peace in the midst of the storms. Always remember to pray. God never fails; he loves you with all his heart. It's an unconditional kind of love. Faith comes by believing. Even though you can't see God or His Son, Jesus Christ, the presence will be felt in your lives. Ask for their guidance. They will never leave you nor forsake you. You will never go wrong. They won't disappoint you. You will find that your prayers are being answered, and your faith has been restored. God and Jesus Christ are the best friends you could ever have. What more could you ask for? Written by Anna Marie Carlson Preferred Author Monday, September 22, 2025 |
