Be careful with pumpkins on Halloween.

It was already dusk, the street lights were on and more and more children were walking on the streets, all in costumes, with bags and buckets that looked like cauldrons or pumpkins in their hands.
"I'm going now!" Conor shouted from downstairs. Coda was tucking a pillow under his costume but at the sound he threw it back on the bed. Then he grabbed his hat from the bed and put it on. In the mirror, a grinning guy in a pumpkin costume was looking back at him. He was wearing an orange costume with a grinning pumpkin face on his stomach, which wasn't very noticeable because it wasn't was stuffed with pillows yet, while the hat resembled the top and stem of a pumpkin.
He ran down the stairs, his orange socks slipping on the warm wooden floor. He slipped a little more from the momentum before stopping in front of his brother.
"Are you sure you'll be okay alone at home?" Conor asked again.
"Of course I'm not a kid!" Coda replied, then pushed Conor through the door. "Just go to that Halloween party."
"I don't know." Connor was unsure. "It would be better if you had someone with you."
Coda put her hands on her hips. "Do you think the house will burn down if I'm alone?"
"No!" Conor rubbed the back of his head. "You know... it's Halloween and .."
Coda raised his hand. "Don't worry, it'll be fine and I'm too old to collect candy anyway." Of course, that's not entirely true, because he always enjoyed this day and just because he got older, he didn't want to give up the free candy and chocolate, but one of his best friends was away and the other one got sick, so he didn't go either because it wasn't that much fun being alone. Since their parents were working, he preferred to stay home so that there would be someone to hand out candy to the children who rang the bell.
"Okay." Conor agreed and stepped off the porch. "I hope you bought enough candy and chocolate for tonight." With that, he left.
At that, Coda's face lengthened a little and he looked at the dollars on top of the shoe cabinet that his father had given him for this purpose. "I knew I forgot something." He slapped his face. The costume search, homework, and decorating the house were completely out of his mind. "Whatever! I'm sure there's enough at home." Then he went into the kitchen with a big bowl and rummaged through the cupboards and drawers, gathering up the last of the sweets. Even the mint candies! It wasn't as many as he had hoped. "But how many children can come anyway?"
Throughout the evening, the bell rang again and again. Ghosts, zombies, animals, witches, and pirates waited at the door, shouting "Trick or Treat." Everyone left with something delicious, and the contents of the bowl quickly became less and less.
It wasn't long before he opened the door to a boy dressed as a court jester. The bells on his jingle cap jingled as he moved his head, but his face was not cheerful. Coda was about to give him a candy when he saw that the boy's bucket was completely empty.
"Is this your first stop?" he asked the obviously shy boy. He just looked at his shoes and shook his head, causing his bells to jingle wildly.
"No, they just said that a fool doesn't deserves candy and the princess took them all." The boy sniffed. As it turned out, the boy had been bullied and his candy had been taken away. Coda listened to the whole incident. Coda was very touched by this and without thinking, he poured the rest of his candy into the boy's bucket. As soon as he saw this, his face brightened. "Thank you!" Then he hugged Coda around the waist and happily ran away. But now Coda was left without candy and began to worry about what would happen if the children didn't get any. "Eggs and toilet paper will cover the whole house and yard."
The next one was a girl dressed as a singer. Makeup, sunglasses and glittery clothes. Coda was about to send her away when he saw the pink microphone in the girl's hand and the bucket overflowing with sweets in the other. The girl handed him the bucket.
"Sorry, there's no more." Coda raised his hands. The girl frowned and raised her bucket higher.
"You already have so much, you can't fit any more."
"Not only is your costume lame, you're also cheap!" He said contemptuously.
"You know what, you're right!" Coda replied, then grinned. "I think you could help me with both of those things." Coda grabbed the girl by the wrist and pulled her through the door, then closed it.
"What are you doing, you animal..." She couldn't finish because her voice was muffled by Coda's flesh as he threw himself on top of her, swallowing her up to her shoulders.
The bucket and microphone fell from her hand and onto the floor. Coda filled her deeper, engulfing her chest and stomach. He felt her head sink into his stomach. He tilted his head back so that her hips and legs could slide down more easily. He felt his bare belly pressing against the loose material of his costume to fill it out. The boy took off the girl's high-heeled silver sandals and took her feet in his mouth. He ran his tongue over her soles, then between her toes, finally swallowing them.
He finished just in time because he couldn't even wipe the saliva from his lips when the bell rang again. He picked up the bucket from the ground and walked to the door to give candy to the newly arrived children. The black eyes and grinning mouth of the pumpkin face on his costume were more visible now on his rounder belly. Coda stirred the candy from the girl's bucket until it too began to empty. He didn't have much left before he opened the door to a girl dressed as a Wonderwoman carrying two bags. Coda looked at the almost empty pink, glittery bucket in his hand and then at the girl's bulging bags.
"Hey! This bucket is just like my friend's!" the girl said.
"Is she dressed as a singer?" Coda asked. The girl nodded. "Then yes, this is hers, since she's here too, would you like to see her?"
The girl unsuspectingly entered the door, which the boy closed behind her. She saw her friend's sandals in the hallway so she sat down to take hers off. Coda licked his lips. He knelt down in front of her and grabbed one of her foot and pulled off her sandals, then did the same with the other. Then he pulled both foot to his mouth. The girl fell backwards from the momentum and by the time she looked up, her legs had disappeared up to her knees in his mouth. The girl screamed as she sank into him up to her hips. "No!" She squirmed. Then her bare feet entered his abdomen and touched something that moved at the touch of her soles. The girl was even more scared because she realized what had happened to her friend. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do but watch helplessly as she slowly disappeared while the boy's belly continued to grow and fill out his costume more. "I don't want to go in!" She said before her head disappeared, leaving only a downward bulge in Coda's throat.
'Uurp!' Coda sat on floor with his belly between his legs, nicely rounded from the previous meal. The costume was no longer loose on him. He rubbed his hands on both sides of his belly, feeling the two girls squirm in their new home. "You came just in time because I was starting to run out of sweets." Coda picked up the two bags and peeked inside. He was satisfied with their contents. He stood up on his feet and poured the contents of the bags into the bowl.
It was getting late and they were coming less and less and it seemed that the sweets would be just enough. Coda was giving candy to two little girls when he saw a girl dressed as a princess walk past the house and look around then walk back and look around again. He ignored her and went back. Since he had a little time so he gathered the things from his previous meals. The two pairs of sandals, the microphone, the bucket and the bags. They were all girly, useless and the sandals were dwarfed by his big teen feet. He didn't need any of them. So he went out to throw them in the trash when he ran into the girl dressed as a princess. The girl stopped and watched as Coda lifted the lid of the trash can and threw out the things he was holding.
"Those are my friends' things!" She shouted. "I've been looking for them for an hour! Where are they?"
Coda jumped at the sound and looked at the girl like a deer in headlights. "They don't need them anymore," he said finally.
"We were supposed to meet here, where are they?" Coda rubbed the back of his head nervously. "You know I was in a bit of trouble today so they stayed with me and helped me out." 'Urp' Coda felt the contents of his stomach start to move around more. The girl looked at him doubtfully. "Come in if you don't believe me and I'll show you."

Sam stayed up late collecting candy. They never had money to buy it for him and his younger siblings, so he had to take advantage of the opportunity to get it for free. That's when he remembered the nice older boy when he passed by his house. The boy cheered him up when he gave him so many sweets and then he didn't see his bullies again during the evening. So he rang the bell. The door opened after three rings and Sam found himself facing a wide, grinning pumpkin face. "Aaahh" He stepped back in fright. Then he saw that it was only the middle part of the pumpkin-clad boy.
"Sorry if I scared you I didn't mean to... hey you're the little court jester from earlier, aren't you?" He asked and looked down at Sam. "You already got it and it's not appropriate to go to the same place twice."
Sam held up the bucket full of sweets. "I just wanted to show you how much I collected and thank you again for comforting me. You're so cool!"
The boy's face flushed with the compliment. "I don't think so, I'm just a round pumpkin boy."
Sam pointed to his stomach. "This used to be flat, right?"
"Yes, but they criticized me for not stuffing it so I did." Sam didn't want to say that he thought he was overdoing it. The material was obviously very tight and between the fabrics he could see the light leather-colored thing he had stuffed it with. But it was pretty scary, he admitted, especially when he had seen it a moment earlier.
"Were you being bullied again?" the pumpkin boy asked worriedly.
Sam shook his head. "I didn't see the three older girls again. I was watching."
The boy's face turned thoughtful. "Three girls?"
Sam nodded.
"What were they dressed as, if I may ask?"
"Princess, Wonder Woman, singer. Why?"
The boy shook his head and patted the top of his stomach. "Nothing."
Finally, Sam was given sweets when he was about to leave. He was very happy.

Coda looked around the empty street and closed and locked the door. He waddled into the living room and sat down on the sofa that creaked and sank under his weight. Beside him was the bowl half full of sweets.
"Oh!" He leaned back in satisfaction. He was tired of carrying his growing belly all evening. He is very full, felt his costume tighten considerably around his belly. The last girl was very unpleasant to swallow because of her frilly princess dress. He could barely taste her because of it. He looked at his rising and falling belly and wondered what the chances were of him eating those three.
"Apparently the ghost of Halloween doesn't like those who steal candy." The girls didn't appreciate it because they were still trying to find their way out of him.
Coda had half a bowl of sweets, saved up the money he received and stuffed himself. All that was left was to carry his full belly up to his room, somehow take off his costume, take a bath, then plop himself down in front of the TV in his pajamas and watch a good Halloween horror movie.
