earth has fallen humans seek planet.

is this the end or is this the start
they look for a planet to play its part
Venus is is crying
mars is dying
mercury's heat
cooks human meat
Saturn is lost and can not be found
Neptune has fallen and spins
without bounds
Jupiter in pieces without hope
Uranus's axis straining to cope

the earth has gone
the humans hold on

a planet they seek
in which to deploy
with a moon and a sun
and a forest to destroy

floating forests pines and oak
keep out the darkness from which we will choke
earth and its beauty dead as the night
a bed time story for the space kids delight
