Hey there, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I came across this puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and wandered in to check it out.

I don't know how I missed this one, but I'm glad I found it. I like how you got the system to expand the grid by using long-ish and / or multiple words. I also like the collection of words you chose; I don't recall seeing DAYGLOW or TECHNICOLOR in any other puzzle - cool!

I had fun working this one. Thanks for sharing it!

Hey there, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I was feeling a little hungry and thirsty, and this Word Search was just the thing!

While I've never partaken of High Tea, I can appreciate the terms you've sprinkled throughout the grid, especially Bigelow and EarlGrey, two of my favorites. You've got a nice mixture of short and long-ish words, all of which serve to create a good-sized grid, and all the ingredients for a successful tea party appear to be correctly spelled. *BigSmile*

Thanks for sharing this with us. Enjoy a cuppa real soon!

Hey there, Steph! I saw your handle all over the Newsfeed and thought I should see what was going on. *Smile* I've not heard any of the three poll questions before, but the one about parents not understanding definitely appealed to my not-necessarily-on-kilter sense of humor! *Laugh* Best of luck with your poll!

Hey there, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I came across your new and improved Word Search via the Browse By Type tab and just had to give it a look.

I don't know which were the original ten words, but the twenty-five you have now certainly point up some of the best aspects of life around WdC! There's that sense of Community we feel as we share Feedback concerning our Writing in general and, perhaps, our Stories and Poetry in particular. There's the Fun way we encourage and Celebrate each other by the giving of GiftPoints and MeritBadges, and so much more.

And, of course, it's great that you're here to bring all this to mind. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Hey there, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I tumbled onto this Word Search puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and decided to take a look.

This was a perfect find, as I feel as though I've fallen down multiple rabbit holes lately, what with deadlines looming everywhere I looked. *Shock* This is a nice change of pace from that insanity, though: no horror, no terror, no malevolent creatures looking to make you their dinner, just a nice little collection from a lovely little story about a pretty little girl. Okay, fine - there's this Queen who wants to take off everyone's head, but she doesn't seem that hard to avoid, so... *BigSmile*

Hello, sindbad Author Icon! I came across your tale of terror via ""13" - 2025 EditionOpen in new Window. and just had to take a look.

This is one seriously creepy story, Sindbad. You grabbed me right from the beginning with that terrific opening line, it set the scene so well, and everything built from there. And young Clara! One has to wonder what intuition prompted her to render that drawing. *Shock*

Suggestion(s): I didn't spot any spelling, grammar or punctuation errors - great job! My only suggestion would be to consider adding a blank line between the paragraphs. It's not really hard to follow the story as-is, but spacing would make it easier.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Hello, Veronika Author Icon! I came across this poem when I was looking for something to review, so here it is.

I really like the imagery you paint with your words; it makes it easy to recall similar memories based on what you've shared (e.g. water marks and toothpaste splatter on mirrors). There are a lot of memories hidden in the everyday bits of life, and I like how you've captured some of those for us.

Favorite line(s):
hand-me-downs worn secretly // before older siblings outgrew them.

Thanks for sharing this with us, and happy WDC Account Anniversary!

Hello there, Cottontail Entertainment Author Icon! I came across your Word Search puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and thought I'd take a look.

I like your collection of Halloween-related terms, especially as you've included some (ELF, FANGS and GHOULS, to name a few) I've not run across in other Word Search puzzles I've looked at. Also, there are enough longer words to make the system create a fairly large grid, something I always appreciate.

Suggestion(s): If you were tossing in random little misspellings as part of the fun - cool! If that wasn't part of the plan, though, you might want to consider these changes: BROOMSTICK, CEMETERY, WEREWOLF.

Thanks for sharing this puzzle with us, and have a great day!

Hey there, Princess Megan Snow Rose Author Icon! I stumbled across your Word Search via the Browse By Type tab; naturally, I had to check it out.

You've got some oldies but goodies buried in here - Barnabas and Angelique from Dark Shadows, for example; all of them are familiar, though. The terms you selected make a nice collection of words to be found, and I would imagine everyone who gives this a try will have a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Hey there, AmyJo-Where did 2025 go??? Author Icon! I saw your Newsfeed post and found the Word Search via the Browse By Type tab, so here we go.

You've gathered a lot of familiar terms here, starting right off with Banshee; it immediately reminded me of an old Disney movie, Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Then, of course, there's Gremlins and Frankenstein, along with all the familiar make-you-quake-in-your-boots terminology. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Hey there, StephBee Author Icon! I spotted your Word Search in the Newsfeed and, of course, just had to give it a go.

First of all, I see what you did here, incorporating some of the spooky shorthand folks have used for their usual handles this Halloween season. *Wink* Naturally, you also have many terms either traditionally associated with the season - wraith, hobgoblin, cauldron, etc. - as well as others that fit their spooky selves right at home. *BigSmile*

Thanks for sharing this with us, and have a wonderfully spooky evening!

Hey there, φως εί Author Icon. I came across this poll via the Browse By Type tab on The Hub and thought I'd check it out.

I'm not sure how you're using the data you're gathering as, to my mind, the options are pretty disparate. I chose Elderly lady, I believe, because I think such a person would be inclined to believe a younger lady. It's also possible I was inadvertently 'steered' to that choice due to the capitalized first letter, but I can't say for sure; I'm no Psych major.

I hope the data you get is useful, though. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Hey, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! Yet another Halloween-themed Word Search puzzle. Who would have guessed? *Laugh* Seriously, though, while a few of the terms in your puzzle are reflected in others that have appeared here on-site, many of them are unique to your puzzle: emancipation, commemorate, soul food and strawberry soda, to name a few. It's always cool to see someone else's perspective on something that so many of us enjoy - Halloween!

Hey there, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! I came across this Word Search via the Browse By Type tab and decided to give it a look.

I've spotted more than a few of these words while out and about; some folks have their front yard literally peopled(?) with brooms, ghosts, Jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, witches and the like, and some of them are even illuminated. *Shock* I like the selection you present us with, as they're all pretty well associated with the upcoming holiday.

Hey there, Shara Izzy Author Icon! Well, I see you jumped right into the fray on your first day here - welcome! The cyber part of the title caught my attention, so I thought I'd try to decipher the grid... and learned that Cyberchase is the name of an animated series. This also explains why I'd never heard the term Swakpad, so I learned something new today. You seem to have brought some major elements of the series into your puzzle, so good job!

Thanks for sharing this with us and, once again - welcome!

Hey there, LightinMind Author Icon! I'm just dropping by with an Account Anniversary review for you.

I really enjoyed this story about the career change from in-the-field operator to intelligence professional. I like reading books in this genre in no small part due to my own little experience in the intel field, and the places and activities in the story were familiar. For example, I read the footnotes before the story - a little odd, I know - and knew the name of the base referenced in #8 before finding it in the text. I wasn't Spec Ops, not even straight-leg Infantry, so I was glad to find the definition of Yomping. All in all, a good story about one man from a special group of men.

Suggestion(s): The quotation mark is missing at the beginning of the sentence where the Major asks Roger to give it a few days before turning in his resignation.

Thanks for sharing this bit of military adventure with us!

Hey there, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! I found this feline-funded Word Search via the Browse By Type tab and decided to go on the prowl. *Cat2*

You seem to have captured the entire range here, from kitten to leopard to puma to tiger, from lots of fur to not so much, and varieties in between. This was a fun one, and I thank you for setting it up.

Hey there, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! I stumbled across this Word Search puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and, squeaky mouse and creaky keyboard notwithstanding, decided to venture in.

There are certainly a few words in this collection that have taken on a spooky meaning all their own, as well as a few that definitely have a specific cultural flavor. Of course, there's one that has never made anyone smile and say, "Oh, yes, please, I'd love to meet one!": werewolf.

Re the Note in the accompanying Brief Description, if a certain pronunciation of "seven" can mean bloody death, that seems to indicate moviegoers shouldn't have been all that surprised by the amount of bloody death in "The Magnificent Seven" (original or remake).

Thanks for setting this up for us!

Hey there, StephBee Author Icon! I stumbled into a unexpectedly dark Browse By Type tab, snapped a ChemLight and found this Word Search puzzle.

I've heard of most of them but have only seen two in their entirety: Beetlejuice and The Mummy. That notwithstanding, the whole of your list definitely represents some flicks best seen with at least one other person in attendance, and more than a few lights burning brightly. *Shock2*

Hey there, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I was strolling past the Browse By Type tab and heard some music, so I thought I'd check it out.

Unlike OneRepublic, I know I've heard of Imagine Dragons. Like OneRepublic, though, I'm unfamiliar with their work. Some of the titles you selected, though, do catch the eye. "No Time For Toxic People" likely resonates with a lot of folks, but "I Don't Like Myself" strikes me as sad without ever having heard any of the lyrics. As words to be found within the grid, though, they all serve the same purpose, so you've done well!

Hello, Amethyst Autumn Angel Author Icon! I found your newest Word Search via the Browse By Type tab and decided to "give it a listen."

I think I've heard of OneRepublic, but I wouldn't swear to it. Fortunately, an intimate knowledge of the musical group isn't required in order to solve this puzzle. *Smile* Some of the titles look pretty interesting - "Life In Color" and "Truth To Power", for example. At any rate, you've got a nice collection of song titles here, and it should keep any takers busy for a fair amount of time.

Hello, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! I followed a leaf-strewn trail into the trees and found your Word Search puzzle. *Smile*

How clever of you to use Column 1 to group the creatures one would most likely least like to encounter, leaving the puma and skunk to fend for themselves in Column 3. *Laugh* Your list certainly covers the probable range of flora and fauna one might see, and includes two words I had to look up (strictly for personal safety purposes): Amanita and Detritivore.

Greetings, iKïyå§ama Author Icon! I came across your Word Search puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and thought I would give it a try, before someone snaps their fingers and it disappears.

I had to look up Danai Gurira and Emma Stone, but the rest of your starring cast are well known to me and it's pretty easy to call up a mental image of them. I like how you dipped into the past to include the late Princess of Monaco, as well as the two ladies who inspired hit songs - one by Kim Carnes and one by Sir Elton John.

Thanks for putting this together for us!

Hey there, Hibernatin' tato🌲 Author Icon! I discovered this Word Search puzzle via the Browse By Type tab and decided to investigate.

For someone who "doesn't know what they're doing", you assembled a pretty cool database of terms for your puzzle. I won't say I know what all the terms mean, but I recognized nineteen of them. *Wink* I never took Biology, so my so-called familiarity with them likely stems from reading murder mysteries where the coroner explains the tiniest thing in excruciating detail to the detective with the glazed-over eyes. *BigSmile*

Thanks for setting up this experiment in sequential-letter association for us!

Hey there, A Thankful Carol St.Ann Author Icon! I found this in your port and thought I'd leave you a review.

I love the humor in this story! It's so easy to visualize the chain of events that directly contributed to Bette and Charlie's continuing indebtedness to the various contractors and handymen of their local area. My mom had one of those wall vacs and it seemed to work okay, but I was never around for a full, top-to-bottom house cleaning.

Given the two gentlemen's track records, the fact there's going to be trouble is a given. The level of damage incurred is only exacerbated by the ladies' decision regarding the car wash. No blame - just fact; I wouldn't want that bird stuff all over my car, either.

Thanks for keeping this available for us to find, read and laugh, and Happy Account Anniversary!
