very short poem....brand new

Bound but by no means broken
That is what she said.
The words that she left unspoken
Filled my heart and my head.

She tried to take my identity,
She wished to make it last.
She always spoke with such gravity,
She is in my past.

Sometimes I wonder how;
Forgetting her, easier than it does sound.
Broken but by no means bound
That is where my heart lies now.
