Sea of Dreams

A poem about losing the one you love.

These dreams of her are killing me
Reminding me of what I lost
Memories of her cloud my mind
Blinding me to Life.

A rift inside my heart
The salty tears that sear
Can't believe I had to part
With the one thing that I loved

And now as I think of this
There's something deep inside of me
That gaids a little frost
A part of me that is so hurt
But I cannot help but dream of her

I feel as if I'm lost at sea
And in this sea of dreams I'm so lost
Never to find myself again
Never to find love

Drowning in the waters
Of a dream I once lived
Choking on the sorrow
Of the love I lost.
