          The Greatest Gift?

Her heart, a pure white mourning dove,
My wife so sweet, so meek, so mild,
Gave me the greatest gift of love:
She carried in her womb a child.

My heart had wings; we'd finally
Become a loving family.
While toasting with a glass of wine,
She told me that it wasn't mine.
