To your humble consideration:

I am very impressed with this poem! Flabbergasted with such a unique and confident style!

The piece made me feel very much identified from the first couple of lines.
The free style I understand very well. Used in a brilliant manner, to be honest.

I enjoyed especially:

"...when the soul is lost.
my heart aches, but the flame's gone long cold
it's a long way home and there is no way back..."

I found it uniquely Appeling. I congratulate your work and applaud such a great show of skill.
