This is a nice poetry about the heroes of the Kokoda campaign. Their heroism, their struggle and their sacrifice comes out in the poetry. They fought and they died. They contributed to their countries vision. They stay aloof from the politics, the policies and the arguments of government. They carry out the orders they have been given. The task is tough. The will will survive the conflict. Only hardened spirits survive a hard battle. The battle becomes more intriguing as it goes on in a foreign country. The poetry brings to light how soldiers live their lives.
