I am reviewing your work as part of "Anniversary Reviews" and Twelve Labourers of WDC. I enjoyed the last poem I read in your portfolio, so I decided to go ahead and read another one of yours. The title of your poem was very nice, I could imagine what kind of a poem would be written on a soulmate and I wanted to see the content in it.A soulmate is a person that gives you a purpose, a clarification in life, a better perspective and view that is optimistic, a different way of life, a new style, an adventure with ups and downs. Finding your soulmate sounds very romantic and to me, it seems like one of the ultimate goals in life, to find someone you love with all of your heart and with whom you want to spend the rest of your life with. The flow of your poem was very good, there was no interruption of any sort while reading it out loud. The starting of the poem was excellent, starting at the point where nothing is perfect, everything is hazy and you don't know your way around things and then finally the soulmate comes along and everything seems to fall into place. The vocabulary you had chosen for your work was very good, it was casual and perfect to convey the emotions and the scenes to the reader, quite vividly and clearly. My favourite lines were: The moment I succumb to facing Being alone and eternally bereft with grace Your shining Being wafts in to claim me. And I loved the rhyming you have used in your poem.
