Happy WDC Anniversary month! I am reviewing your item as part of "Anniversary Reviews" Open in new Window. and as task at "Invalid Item" Open in new Window.. I am glad you chose the Romance genre because I feel uncomfortable and awkward writing erotica and reading it. The title of your poem was very good, it seemed as if the poem would be something about nature, the actual rainbow. And the reader hadn't expected that the rainbow was used figuratively rather than in literal way in this poem which came as a surprise.

I loved how you compared the rainbow to your love and showed the reader the comparison and the reason for comparing the rainbow specifically with the love you share with your better half.

I always wanted to become a part of Muse Masters and write poetry using conventions and less famous forms but when I joined Muse masters, it got closed after a month or two and I didn't get the opportunity to write. The form you have used is unique and one I haven't heard of. I don't know what an Epic Simile was. I googgled it and have a slightly better idea as to what it is.

The literary devices you have used work well with the poem you have. I loved the short yet very meaningful poem that was full of deep, touching emotions. The flow of your poem was excellent, there was no interruption of any sort and my favourite line was the:

reflecting through the rain of troubled times gone by;
