| Hi Mari McKee I am reading and reviewing your item as a part of my task at "a very Wodehouse challenge" The prompt at the contest was very interesting and I wanted to know how the participants had used the prompt image of a television in their writing. The other participant wrote a story and you wrote a poem. Your response to the prompt provided at the contest was quite funny and entertaining! I never expected a story in the poem like this! From the title of your poem, the reader expects that perhaps it is due to the advancement in technology and new inventions that people don't find televisions attractive or interesting any more and don't touch or watch it. However, the way you presented the poem had me smiling, truly amused. What a fun way to twist it! I could feel the rivalry and the feelings of hatred of the television against the remote control and it made me feel funny. Your choice of vocabulary was simple yet enough to deliver emotions in words of a television! I like the realistic feature you added in your poem, how you tell about the advancement of the television, how it changed from being a big, large, fat box to a slim LCD/LED and then a hanging television. It was a fun read! Good luck in the contest! Thank you for sharing your work with us! Write On! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
