Hi Lana!
Although this is sad testament to the world's future, it very well could happen, and you've done a good job of portaying what the world might look like if it does. This reminds me of some of the movies I've seen, mainly Stephen King's The Stand when you said that some of us might be immune to those bioweapons. Which also gives a bit of hope for saving humanity. Yes, it would take some time, but at least we might still have some hope.
One niggle (I think):
'...while weed penetrate through...' (weeds?)
Otherwise, good job! Great spelling and telling!
