Overall Impression


Hello Elfin Dragon-finally published Author Icon. I am back with another review for you. *Smile* Sit back, relax, and enjoy your R&R. *Smile*

I like this poem. I get a sense of depression and hopelessness from it. I almost wonder if there is a suicide about to take place with the stanza, Here is where, my soul ends in fear.

I believe everyone experiences darkness in their lives. Sometimes it gets so bad that they give up. They throw everything away because times seem hopeless.


Stanza 5


L1: Here...madness.
*Starbl* S1: Since the following line is a complete sentence, a semicolon should be used in the place of this period.

Stanza 12


L1: Nowhere...truth,
*Starbl* S1: Use a period instead of the comma.

L2: For...found;
*Starbl* S1: A semicolon is not needed here.

*Starr* In all honesty, this entire stanza confuses me. I believe if you rewrite it, other readers will be able to understand it better. Please understand that this is not a personal attack. I am just trying to help you along your writing journey. *Smile*
