Going to Have to Soak It

Georgina paused for a moment, frowning. The exam was going marvelously, but something was wrong. A minor irritation on her leg...

Uncrossing her legs again, sitting with both feet planted firmly on the ground, she looked down at her knee, where the itch had been.

It was disgusting. Clearly some insect had crawled up her skirt, and she had squashed it when she crossed her legs. Now it was splattered all over her - and this was a new skirt as well, damnit!

She brushed at it a bit with the back of her hand, but it was stuck on fast. She'd probably have to soak it to get the stain out, but if that failed she still had the receipt.

Sighing, she tried to put it out of her mind and went back to working on the exam.
