I've popped over to your port and left you a review. Congrats on getting some work into your portfolio - it can take courage but it's the only way to start getting feedback.
One of the ways to improve your work is to read other people's work. Not just books, but unfinished, unpolished work here on WDC. You might think 'I don't like the way they've done that' and then realise 'Oh, that's exactly what that person was trying to tell me in that review!' I've definitely had those moments before. We all have something to work on (my big thing is show not tell, and using conflict in my stories). If you want to meet some friendly people and do some reading and reviewing, I can recommend the "WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group" Open in new Window.. They were the first group I joined here on WDC and were voted 'friendliest group on WDC' last year. *Smile*
