30 Day Image Prompt Contest - CLOSED

Tomorrow is April first or April Fool's
I got work and a paper due.

But over at CampNanowrimo a fire burns,
I'm plannin' and schemin'
a story is unfolding.

It's a crazy challenge
It's a free for all.

50,000 words or more
or less--it's not November
After all!

I don't know my cabin mates
but I'm sure to find them
when I log on tonight
after the homework pile is shortened.

Just a cheesy poem about April's Camp NanoWrimo which is more of a free-for-all than it is in November. You get to set your own challenge and have a "cabin" full of people to talk with, etc. My goal is 50,000 words, but I think that I am going to write different fantasy 'short' stories that may connect at some point or not. I may go over 50,000 or leave some leftover inspiration for July's CampNano.

In November, I really want to go to the Night of Writing Dangerously, but I may have to make my own version at home.
