Adding navigation options to portfolios

Sorry if this is a repeat post

I would love to be able to navigate a port with next/previous options, in the same manner that email and books are treated. If I open an item in, say, the very talented 's port, I would love a link at the top that would take me to the next older/newer item, without having to backtrack into the port (or whatever folder I happen to be in) again.
