WDC Frontliners Novel Review forum

My thoughts/feelings:
I think there will be a lot of fun and adventures in this novel. I had some questions coming from my mind while I read the chapters, like that how did Annie met the other teenagers? What was the Castle?

I hope to find the answers in the next chapters.


My comments/suggestions:

Plot
The plot seemed to contain different conflicts from the different characters, especially of the protagonist. I am unsure but from what I tried to understand, the Epilogue was the latest happening in the life of the protagonist and her friends, while the Beginnings was a part of her past of how she met her friends, and the Prologue was her tragic past.

Setting
The Castle as a setting was interesting. It made me think that it might be an orphanage which they just called their "Castle."

I would like to suggest if you can describe more of it; of how it came to be and where was it located, as well as what kind of world were they living in?

Characters

There were a lot of characters in the story. They all have different personalities, and I think they also have different life stories to tell before they met each other. I think Annie may be the main character in the story.

I would like to suggest that it would be nice if you will be able to introduce the life of one character if he/she has his/her own chapter.


As an overall, I think you've got a good start for what you want for your fantasy-adventure novel. I hope to read your work again once you made any changes or additions in this novel.
