Noticing Newbies

Well, hello everybody!
I always find myself reading fantasy and fantasizing about worlds different than ours. I always kept these thoughts to myself, but I thought, hey, why not share them with the world? I tried to write them down, which I found particularly difficult as English is not my native language. But now the first chapter of my story is finished :) I started looking around for a place to share my story and I stumbled upon this site. It looks like a fun place with a great community to me.
