Day to day stuff....a memoir without order. |
Jim had an early physical therapy visit this morning. We just had time to see the terrible news about the earthquake and the expected tsunamis. Weather seems to be getting stranger and stranger. Jim's PT visit went well...still trying to stretch those muscles and starting some strength building exercise. Back again Monday and Thursday next week. I discovered something yesterday I did not know about...graving. I'm probably the only one, but for those few who don't know, it's people who like to visit cemeteries for one reason or another, not necessarily to visit the dearly departed, but just the fascination of it. It may sound morbid to some, but it sounds interesting to me, too. I guess my interest started when I saw the little family cemetery in the subdivision near us. Many of these "gravers" volunteer to input info into a site called "Find A Grave". The site was actually started by a "graver". You can search by a relative's name and if the info has been logged, find out where they are buried, in case you don't know. Even though I'm not a graver (cannot leave Jim alone for very long), I'm inputting all my deceased relatives' information that I know about. It's a very interesting site. I even found a couple I did not know about. My tomato plants are getting humongous...hope this wind quits blowing soon so I can set them out. It's supposed to be in the low 40's here tonight, though...brrr. I joined a new site here on WDC, "Invalid Item" ![]() until next time...c |
