Day to day stuff....a memoir without order.

This weather...
has me in my curl up reading mode. Yesterday I read Anne Tyler's Noah's Compass cover to cover. I read several of her books awhile back and had forgotten how much I enjoyed her writing...mostly about people trying to find themselves and how they fit in the big picture. The Homesick Restaurant is a real keeper...and Breathing Lessons. Most of her settings are in the Baltimore area which I can relate to personally since I'm originally from Delaware.

Other than working on my Cache assignments and delving deeper into the tarot cards, nothing much is happening. The more I read about the tarot, the more interesting it becomes, perhaps most importantly one can use it as a self-discovery tool. I found a much better book at the library Saturday, The Tarot Bible. More on this as I wade through.

I watched another episode of Downton Abbey last night (Masterpiece Theatre on PBS). The plot thickens as the "evil sister" sends a letter to the Turkish Embassy. Nothing good can come from that.

My daughter has recovered from her strep throat...(relief). It's tough being so far away when your "kid" is sick, even if she is forty-five...don't laugh.

My kitty, Mopsy, is asleep in the chair beside me and she is snoring like crazy....*Laugh*...

until next time....c
