Seeing different birds....
I am seeing some cute little black-capped chicadees and some purple finch today. They are hungry and thirsty little dogs! My computer is angled into a corner so that to my left I have a window that looks out onto a bird feeder and bird bath giving me a bird's eye view...lol. It keeps everything interesting while I am in this seat. I can also see the street out front. Several people are still riding motorcycles in this cold weather...hardy souls. I do not think I would live through 28 degree winds hitting my face.

Gator Nation is sad today. Our coach, Urban Myer, resigned yesterday citing the need to have more time with his family. He has two daughters who play college volleyball and regrets he never had the time to go to any of their high school games. He has a son in little league baseball and wants to be a part of that. Family has become more important to him than coaching, and who can fault him for that. He has been a great coach, but I do not think his heart is in it anymore. I wish him well.

When I got up this morning, I had this terrible feeling of doom...like something bad is going to happen. Do we really have options, or are our choices already made for us...by some stronger force within? For example, we say some people have a strong drive or desire and nothing can stop them from fulfilling their dream. Is there some kind of "force" within them that "forces" them to do the things they do? Do all people want to be "happy" or are some people happy being miserable? Is choice an illusion just to pacify our need for independence and control?

until next time....c
